Welcome
Dear Henderson Collegiate Community,
We are thrilled to share some incredible news regarding Henderson Collegiate’s performance in the 2023-2024 academic year. Of the 2,768 public schools in North Carolina, Henderson Collegiate has achieved #1 in Academic Growth for all North Carolina Charter Schools! This historic accomplishment is a testament to the dedication of our students, staff, and families—proof of what is possible when we all come together with a shared mission.
Our school has not only ranked at the top for growth but has outperformed the state in every subject area and at every grade level. Additionally, we scored higher than 93% of all North Carolina public schools in academic proficiency—bringing us within just 0.26 points of an "A" rating on the state's School Report Card. This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our incredible teachers and staff, our students and families, and our community partners and Board. Together, we have proven that every student can thrive with the right support and resources.
But we are not finished yet. This is just the beginning. As we continue to climb the mountain to college and beyond, we are confident that the best is yet to come. We will continue to set new standards for excellence, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in education, and providing a blueprint for schools across the nation.
Thank you for your continued belief in our mission, and for being a part of this incredible journey.
With Pride from Co-Founders,
Despite obstacles, our students’ hard work and dedication have propelled Henderson Collegiate to become one of the top-performing schools in North Carolina and a nationally recognized leader in education.
